I've recently taken classes with some nationally known enamel artists and have begun using different types of enamel (liquid, acrylic, watercolor, and 80 mesh). Each type lends a different feel. This pair was fabricated with liquid enamels, which allowed me to brush off the enamel after it had dried to reveal folds and indents made to the metal.
