Ubiquitous surfaces - a door, a dumpster, old metal, and paint - that have endured harsh environmental conditions and human use, are rarely thought of as having an aesthetic quality.

I have reimagined these surfaces using digital photography and post-processing to make the ordinary and mundane into something more approachable.
